Wiser Hub 2nd Gen visible in Wiser Home, but PowerTag Acti9 cannot be added

Hello,

I recently purchased the following products:

  • Wiser Hub 2nd Gen (CCT501801)
  • PowerTag Acti9 3-Phase (A9MEM1570)
  • Wiser Home mobile application

While testing the system, I observed inconsistent behavior depending on the application mode.

In Installer Mode, I can add both the Wiser Hub and the PowerTag device. The application successfully displays live power consumption values in kW.

However, in Home Owner Mode, I can add the Wiser Hub, but the PowerTag is not available in the device list and therefore cannot be added.

I also tested multiple country settings in the application:

  • Poland
  • United Kingdom
  • Germany
  • Spain
  • Denmark

In all cases, the Energy devices category and/or PowerTag device were missing from the available device list.

The attached screenshots show that:

  • In some configurations the Energy category is available and displays"Solar and Storage System".
  • In other configurations the Energy category disappears completely.
  • The Wiser Hub 2nd Gen (CCT501801) can always be added and connected, even though this product is not officially available in Poland.
  • The PowerTag Acti9 (A9MEM1570), which is officially available in Poland, cannot be added from the Wiser Home application.

Questions

  1. Is PowerTag Acti9 officially supported in the Wiser Home application when using Wiser Hub 2nd Gen?
  2. Why is PowerTag visible and functional in Installer Mode but not available in Home Owner Mode?
  3. What conditions enable the Energy category to appear in the application?
  4. Are there any country-specific restrictions or product compatibility limitations that would explain this behavior?

Hi @PiotrJakubczyk ,

Please try to follow the Device User guide for pairing and commissioning the device:

  • PowerTag Energy A9MEM1570 is supported with Wiser Home and Wiser Hub 2nd Gen, and should be commissioned according to the procedure described in the guide
  • the guide also notes that the Energy tab is available only to users in the Nordics and Belgium

BTW, although the Wiser Home app can be downloaded in Poland, the Wiser Home system is not commercially available in Poland.

Regards,

Eva

Hi @PiotrJakubczyk ,

To complete the answers from @EvaT_SE , even if Wiser Home system is not officially launched in Poland, you can install and use the system, some screens / items can be not translated.

You can find the link to the system user guide for Austria & Germany.

Please update us if you can succeed to commission & use your Wiser Home system.

BR

David
