Installing a second underfloor controller

Hello

I'm just after some guidance please. I'm installing a second WF762F1A0902 to control the underfloor heating in an extension to an existing property. Do I need to run a cable from this controller back to the boiler position to fire the boiler, or can this be achieved wirelessly ?

Thanks for the question.

In a typical underfloor heating architecture, the B1/B2 boiler demand terminals from under floor heating controller are wired to the zone valves. The contacts within the zone valves are then wired to the boiler's call-for-heat input (or the existing boiler demand circuit) to ensure the boiler only operates when there is a genuine heating demand.
