Add illuminance (lux) history for the Wiser Motion Sensor CCT595012

Hello,

I would like to suggest an improvement to the event history available for the Wiser connected motion and light sensor CCT595012.

Unless I am mistaken, I remember that a previous version of the Wiser app on iPhone displayed a history of the illuminance readings measured in lux.

I am currently using the latest version of the Wiser app available to me:

  • App version: 7.5.0 (build 48)
  • Device: iPhone
  • Sensor: Wiser Motion Sensor CCT595012

At present, the sensor history only displays the date and time next to the status “Occupied”. I can therefore review occupancy or motion detections, but I cannot access any history of the lux values measured by the sensor.

However, this device provides two distinct functions:

  1. Occupancy or motion detection
  2. Ambient light measurement in lux

The current history does not allow users to choose which type of information they would like to view. It would be useful to offer:

  • an occupancy detection history;
  • an illuminance history showing the measured lux values;
  • or, ideally, a combined history displaying both the occupancy status and the corresponding lux measurement.

A lux history would be particularly useful when configuring Wiser automations based on brightness thresholds. It would allow users to understand how the measured light level changes throughout the day and to select appropriate thresholds for controlling shutters, lighting or other connected devices.

Currently, users must observe the live lux value manually, which makes it difficult to analyse changes over several hours or days and to fine-tune automations accurately.

Could Schneider Electric consider restoring or adding this feature in a future version of the Wiser app?

Thank you.

Hi @Arke ,

Thanks for the post. The feature you mentionned was not delivered in the previous versions. Wiser Home application only displays the history of occupancy detection.

Your improvement requests will be shared and analyzed with the marketing team for future candidate of new versions.

BR

David
