Impacts of New UL Certification Program for Electrical Equipment— October 21, 2021
UL has created an Extended Manufacturer Assemblers Program that provides additional methods for their surveillance and certification of electrical equipment. This presentation will provide an overview of the program, certification processes and impacts on assembly, labeling and inspection. The program provides positive outcomes for the flexibility, scheduling and installed quality of electrical equipment. An example of how this process would work and the associated benefits for modular switchboards are discussed.
