Modbus Data Save and Restore to/from Excel Sheet

Similar to previous post, this one offers an application for saving Modbus holding register or coils to Excel file for a later retrieval. A snapshoot of the GUI is attached.

After selecting the desired operation and completing the required information, the user is required to click the Data Validate button. All text boxes color should change to green and the Execute button becomes available.

At the end of save/restore session, the user can either exit the application or click on Resume Program button for the next operation.

The Message box reports the execution status of the current session.

@AmitGolan Very nice small app, thanks for sharing. Can you elaborate a little bit what exactly the "Data Validate" button does.

Hello Ciupol, the data validation button performs basic checking of the data provided for the requested operation. Once cleared properly, the execute button becomes available.
