Hello,
We have a device ION9000 whose comtrade file we want to look at. Only problem we have is that the voltage is in MV not kV.
After reading about comtrade file format we found out that parameter "a" ("channel multiplier") in .cfg file is responsible for multipling the voltage value, and giving us that huge voltage.
In attached photo you can see that a=3.117553
Where is the multiplier calculated? Can we change it so it can show the real value of the voltage?
Best regards,
Dušica

Hello @Dusica ,
If you change the last characters in the .cfg file from S -> P, do you still get larger than expected values?

Charles

Hello @Charles_Murison,
The change S -> P has resolved the problem. Thank you for the answer.
Do you know what we should do so that S -> P becomes default setting for devices?
Best regards

Hello @Dusica ,
Is it possible to have what is reading the COMTRADE file ignore the S vs. P setting? Currently there is no way to change the meter's setting. Only option would be to adjust the file after downloading he file.
Regards,
Charles
