RVC Count

Hello, 

How can we see how much RVC (Rapid Voltage Change) has happened in one day? We need RVC Count for a day from 00:00 to 23:59.

By default, meters that support RVC, such as the ION9000 have an RVC Count parameter calculated by Counter module 18. Each time the RVC Steady State changes from false (RVC duration + 100/120 half cycles) to true (RVC ends), Counter module 18 increments the RVC event count.

If you want to see the number of RVC events within 24 hours, you need to link the Counter module to the Source input of the Store module. The Store module’s Store Input should be linked to the New Day output register of a Clock module. The Store module’s Store Complete output should then be linked to a Feedback module, which resets the RVC Counter module.

Please note that, since Counter 18 is already used in the PQ framework and resetting this module will affect related functions, you can add another Counter module linked to the same RVC event signal.
