PM8240 meter is a meter built on ION technology. This means the meter has a template comprised of different frameworks. Each framework is comprised on different modules. Each module performs a specific task. Depending on the desire you can use default modules or create new modules to enhance the meter's default features.
Flicker
PM8240 (standard) does not support flicker. See https://product-help.schneider-electric.com/PowerLogic-PM8000/en-us/content/01a-whats-new/fw-v-4dot5... for more information on the different feature sets of PM8000.
PM8000 Advanced, does support flicker. The PST and PLT values are calculated an logged by default if EN50160 is enabled.
Voltage unbalance is defined in 2 different ways on the meter, first comes from the Power meter module (see Power Meter Module.htm ) Not logged by default.
The second is a calculation from the symmetrical components (Symmetrical Components Module ) zero, negative, and positive magnitudes, (u0 ,u2). See Arithmetic module "Unbal Ratios" or "UnbalRatios 2hr" for the calculations. Calculations are linked to data recorders, some data recorders are active by default, some can be activated with a setting change.
If you need to do alarming on these measurements you may need to create a new setpoint module. see Setpoint Module
