Hello,
Is there any software that needs to be installed on the PC beforehand to run “PM5kDataLogger”?
When I start PM5kDataLogger and click Start Server, an error screen appears.
Error states that an unhandled exception occurred.
I'm having difficulty understanding the content of this error, so please let me know if there is any software that is required for the basic configuration.
I clicked Continue and selected Manual Export from the PM5560 web browser, but the file cannot be generated.
Regards,
Miyai

Hi @Miyai
It is most likely a port conflict issue, and no specialized software is required. However, please ensure that your PC meets the following requirements:
The application is likely attempting to use Port 80, which is restricted or already in use by Windows (for example, by IIS or other system web services). Because the server fails to start, the PM5560 meter has no available destination to send the manually exported data.
In both PM5kDataLogger and the PM5560 web page (Device Log Export section), change the port setting from 80 to 8080 or 443 (when using Secure Mode).
Additionally, right‑click PM5kDataLogger.exe and select Run as administrator to grant the required network permissions. Ensure that Windows Firewall is configured to allow the application to communicate over the selected port.

Thank you for your support.
I was able to output the log data by changing the port setting to 8080.

Miyai
