PM5000 with Marine certificate

Hi,

I read that PM5350 has a marine certificate, but customer is asking for modbus TCP connection. Are there other Schneider power meter with modbus TCP and marine certificate? Thank you,

Hi @Kanon.w 

Only the PM5350 meets both your customer's requirements:

Marine certification (DNV‑GL)
Modbus TCP connectivity

Other Schneider meters and PM5000 series models support Modbus TCP but lack any marine certification, and there is currently no alternative offering this combination.

Hi Mehran_Mehrnia, thanks for the help but PM5350 does not have TCP connection.

@Kanon.w for PM5350 Communication protocol is Modbus RTU.

You're right and thanks for the note.

If Marine certification is essential, the PM5350 is your best option, but you'll be limited to RS‑485 Modbus RTU.

Only PM5350 device support marine certification in entire PM5K and PM55XX range. But it supports only Modbus RTU.
