Hi everyone,
I’m currently troubleshooting a Schneider PowerLogic ION9000 meter and encountered an issue with power and energy calculations.
Current observations:
Per-phase power readings are correct:
Phase A ≈ 5.1 MW
Phase B ≈ 5.3 MW
Phase C ≈ 5.2 MW
Total power should be around 15–16 MW
However:
Some total power displays previously showed near zero
Now total kW is visible (~15.8 MW), but:
kWh is barely incrementing (e.g., +0.001 kWh only)
Energy values (kWh/kVAh) are not accumulating as expected
Additional info:
Metering setup:
3W4W WYE
CT ratio: 600/5
PT ratio: 20125/115
Phasor diagram looks correct (no obvious polarity inversion)
Energy Applications and Incremental Energy appear disabled or not configured
No recent DCF/template reload has been performed
Concern:
At ~15 MW load, energy should increase significantly (hundreds of kWh per minute), but current behavior does not match expected values.
Question:
Has anyone encountered this issue where:
Instantaneous power is correct
But total energy (kWh) is not integrating properly?
Could this be due to:
Missing or corrupted energy integrator module?
Incorrect register mapping?
Template/configuration issue?
Any guidance on where to check or how to restore proper energy accumulation would be greatly appreciated.

If you meter does not have any custom framework elements, you can try re-paste the template on the meter.
If you do have customer elements, you may want to confirm the desired outputs of external Boolean modules.
Likely your meter is currently using metering units for total power and PT/CT ratios for the individual phases. There are settings configured by the external Boolean modules to tell the meter to apply or not apply scaling to total power readings.

The Volts Mode is either:
4W-WYE
or
3W-WYE which is a very specific use case, and should only be used in systems (with two PTs measuring two out of three phases) referenced to Neutral where the system is assumed to be perfectly balanced which is often not the case at customer sites.
I would double-check the Phasor Diagram to confirm the wiring and phase rotation, especially when the total power does not align with the per-phase power as shown in the attached images, even though you mentioned the total power now appears correct.
As a starting point, please review the Power Meter module and the related Integrator module output registers in Advanced mode of ION Setup. Hold the Control key while selecting the meter to access the advanced view and verify the live values.
Following Charles’s advice in the next post, one of the External Boolean modules that can also be checked in the Setup Assistant is 'Scale Rev Param', which specifies whether the revenue readings are presented as primary-side or secondary-side values:
