Hello,
I have received below inquiry from a customer and would like some advice.
Is 1PH2W connection diagram in the installation manual correct?
When I tried this wiring, a sag alarm was constantly detected and the voltage could not be properly monitored.
Voltage mode is set to single.
In case of a single setting, Vn is thought of as L-N voltage.
When I checked the voltage of L2-V, it was 0V, so I think a sag is being detected all the time.
Therefore, I am considering changing to the red line wiring method, but will this have any adverse effects on the measurement information?
For example, calculations such as power and THD.

If Volts mode is set to SINGLE, meter will monitor line to neutral signals of both Vln a and Vln b:
ION Reference -> Sag/Swell Module:
In this case, when meter is wired as 1 phase with Volts mode as SINGLE and 1PH2W LL:
meter will be in constant Sag/Swell detection mode, cause in SINGLE mode, the Sag/Swell module only processes and updates V1 and V2 and since V2=VN=0, it will trigger the Sag/Swell module.
As stated in a similar forum: ION 9000 single phase wiring
"If your wiring doesn't have the V2 terminal connected to a signal, then(in Advanced mode of ION Setup) simply re-link the inputs of the SagSwell module such that the SagSwell V2 input is linked to the same source output as the V1 input ("PQA VLN1 Half Cycle"). This will allow the module to function properly in Single Phase volts mode."
