ION8650 hhf timestamp doesn't match the meter time

We’ve noticed that the load profile timestamps are offset by 8 hours from local time. We attempted to adjust the timezone settings, but the offset remains unchanged.

Could you please help investigate and resolve this issue?

If I am reading the documentation correctly, the ION meter will always output its data in UTC time, and the time zone offset is applied in the software (MV-90).  If you absolutely must provide localtime, you could theoretically manually set the clock to the local time, but you will have to disable time sync, which is not recommended.

Agree with Rob that likely UTC vs local time but would need more details to even begin looking at this.

If you are using ION Setup to export HHF files it uses the published ITRON Generic HHF file format.

The HHF file indicates at byte 0xF4 with an ASCII character of 'U' to indicate that date/times are stored in UTC.
