do you know how many digits have the ION 7400 to read kWh?
I have an ION7400, which showed me 9,999,187 kWh, then started counting again.

The Energy Rollover value, which is a parameter found in many ION series meters, including the ION7400, has a default of 10,000,000 kWh.
When the accumulated energy value reaches this threshold, the register resets to zero and an internal rollover counter is incremented. This is done to maintain numerical precision because energy values are often stored using a 32-bit floating-point number, which has precision limitations for very large integers.
This rollover value can be changed using the meter's ION Setup software, but it is typically best to keep the factory setting to ensure data accuracy when communicating with other systems.
