Digital Output for ION7650

Hello all,

We are an EPC company on solar systems. ION7650 used in our Plants. We want to use the ION7650 as a relay.

We provide a 24 V line and we want to close the circuit when ION7650 see the total power over 900 kW. When the total power under the 900 kW we want to open the circuit. Is it possible that with Digital Output settings or etc?

The ION7650 meters do come standard with 3 relay digital outputs. (https://www.se.com/us/en/download/document/13061570/) These digital outputs can be controlled by modules in the meter. ION Reference is a great resource on individual module behavior. For example, power meter kw output linked to setpoint module. Setpoint module status output linked to digital out module.

Please make sure to read the ION 7650 user guide related to digital outputs and controls.
