Hi,
I would like to ask for assistance regarding device identification in ION Setup.
I am currently scanning multiple Schneider PM2200 series power meters (specifically PM2230) via Modbus in ION Setup. All devices are successfully detected, and communication is confirmed (I can read measurement data without issue).
However, I noticed that for some meters, the Device Information (e.g., serial number) is not displayed during the scan, while other meters of the same model do show complete information.
Details:
Based on testing, it seems the serial number exists but is not being interpreted/displayed correctly in ION Setup.
My questions:
Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Yes, that ION Setup is 4.5 years old (late 2021 based on that build #).
I would also confirm using the integrated Modbus Tester UI in ION Setup (click on the Troubleshooting tab you see in your screenshot) and use the Modbus Ident (0x2B) and Read Holding Registers (0x03) to confirm the SN# register is being read correctly.

Hi @Bryanbyte Please share some more details like ION setup version you've used, affected meter's S/N & FW version as well as some unaffected meter's S/N & FW version.

Hello @Bryanbyte With the meters in our lab, we are not getting such issues. Please try upgrading the ION setup version and see if it helps.
Hi @Robert_Lee Please check and answer for this query.
