TM172DCLWTH Error

Hi,

I am using a TM172DCLWTH controller for a project that was originally created in EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC v1.5. I recently reopened the project to make some updates, now using version 1.7.

When I open the project, I receive a pop-up: 'Found new version of libraries: c:\program files (x86) ... \basic.plclib.'

If I choose “No”, the project compiles without any issues. However, if I proceed with the library update, I encounter the following error: 'ERROR generating IEC code for HMI'. 

Could you please advise what might be causing this issue?

Hi,

Please scroll up on the error message to get a more detailed message. In the actual version of ESME HVAC is a bug on TM172DCL which generates a problem if you use a button with a toggle function for an external variable. If you use videosetparam in a procedur you could solve the issue.

Hi Bastian,

Thanks for the response. Recent development; I updated Ecostruxure ME HVAC to recent release 1.9. 

Now the project builds fine, whether or not I update the basic.plclib, however if I update it and install the program on the on M172DCL Portrait, the program doesn't seem to be working the way it should.

The screen response and variable status is different, before and after updating the library (seems to be working fine before the library update).

Hi,

The difference in the basic library should be just on the R_TRIG and F_TRIG, updated in order to align them to the IEC specification. This cause a pulse on F_TRIG at startup if the input is false and it might cause a regression on your application.
