NODE ID i=3709 shows Redundancy Support as defined in OPC UA documentation and can be (NONE, COLD, WARM, HOT)
When running Geo SCADA with multiple servers, each OPC UA server installed on a Geo SCADA server acts independently. As such, NODE ID i=3709 shows NONE for redundancy support.
When using an OPC UA Client which relies on NODE ID i=3709 to determine the state of redundant OPC UA servers (such as the AVEVA PI OPC UA Adapter) there is no way to manually set the NODE ID i=3709 state.
Suggestion is to allow a way to edit the value of NODE ID i=3709 within Geo SCADA to set the Redundancy Support options as required.
Would the AVEVA PI OPC UA Adapter also require the NODE i=11314: Server URI array to be populated with the Main/Standby server URIs (in a Hot Standby configuration)?
Unsure if GeoSCADA Expert already exposes this.
If not, perhaps it should be bundled into the same investigation/consideration.
I think technically the GSE OPC-UA redundancy would be 'HOT' in that both the Main and Standby servers provide an OPC-UA endpoint that could be connected to and through which OPC-UA services could be utilised.
