Tools/automation system to whitelist IP in firewall
Im not sure if this is the right place to ask so apologies if it isn't. Continuing to my question, I am managing a small set of (game)servers myself and while it's been going pretty well due to my familiarity with Linux systems management I've been trying to figure out a user-friendly system to dynamically whitelist user's IP and reject unknown connections to prevent unusual traffic or DDOS attack. The most user-friendly way which I've thought of is to obtain IP from a website prompt and add it to the firewall. While it can be easy for most of the fellow redditers here, I am not able to figure it out. While Im running a Windows server and my website is on a seperate host, how should I go to get the IP from website and add it dynamically to the Windows firewall. Would it be an overkill to use a REST API system to transfer data and whitelist IP using some kind of script?

Hi Paimon9,
This particular forum is dedicated to power distribution and building automation, and primarily aimed at a Swedish community (hence the language). I am afraid you won't get many answers to your question regarding game server management in here.
I suggest you try to find a different forum on the web and post your questions there.
