Script for creating trendlogs for menta program properties

Just wanted to post a script I did for a faster transition time.

When using the script it is assumed that you have ”System” folder already created on the Server, for example: LB-201. The script will search through the LonWorks interface and find variable candidates inside the program modules. 
If you have a module with the name 1634_hhgd_LB—_201-ahu the script will almost always match that to the System folder LB-201. It will creat Interval trendlogs on all candidates that are not alarms, inside ”Node Objects or contain any of the excluding filters written in the input section of the script. 
You can adjust trend size, interval and delta of the trends. After creating the logs it will move the matched trendlog to /LB-201/Trendloggar and rename it. The name will be LB-201-”variable_name”_Logg the prefix is decided by the system foldername and sufix is always _Logg.

If the script finds any outliers it will put them under /Servername/Trendloggar if that folder exists, otherwise directly under the server. 

I’ve tried it out on a backup containing 6 Xentas and over 12 systems. All but 12 logs got sorted correctly, those were logs that came from networkvariables. 

I haven’t managed to find away to get the unit from the ligged variable to the trend. Still trying though.

Since I haven’t found a way to discern via the script if a signal is digital or analog I am stuck with only interval logs and not COV for digital signals. 

It’s not perfect but it might be of use for some. Please @ me if u try it and find improvements

I cannot get this to import or if i manually add it to the script folder my custom scripts tab fails to load packages.  Im guessing when you mentioned AI you exported a trend and used AI to reverse engineer creating it via script?

@JustinH thanks for raising this - I can see that @LukasB would probably have to attach the script in a zip file, as the Community platform seems to obfuscate the exported script content.

I just stumbled into your SSoT file... I got a big SEAL script for object creation project I've been trying to reverse engineer stuff for and I think that will be what breaks me out of my rut there.  It looks like that SSoT covers what I wanted to see here but good to know for future shares to zip any script files.

I followed Benjis post regarding the use of AI with SEAL script.
After that I had a PCT test server containing several Xentas with different structures for the modules and programs to test on. Had a lenghty conversation with the AI. So not too much reverse engineering.

This script is based on how alot of Xentas were structured in Sweden, I don't know how it looks in other regions therefor your results may wary.
