How to determine a users "anonymized name id" found in logs

I'm trying to determine which user account is associated to failed login attempts. Causing excessive logging with constant failed attempts. Needed to isolate down on whether a client is in a zombie state... causing this.

Anyone have instructions?

Thanks in advance!
