How can I use SY160K160H (w/o PD) as a Power Source to the PDPM277H?

Hi Community,

I've got a problem with create power path between SY160K160H and PDPM277H units. Additionally I've got SYWMBP panel between UPS and PDPM.

I've placed UPS on the layout but there is no link to UPS in the Power Dependency menu of the PDPM277H unit. Moreover in the Genome library there is no SYWMBP96K160H module allowable to choose unfortunately.

Could you please suggest the Best way to create proper model of the SYWMBP panel and to force ITA to build appropriate power path between UPS, SYWMBP and PDPM modules?

Informative ... when I've chosen SY160K160H-PD creation of the power path to PDPM277H is possible (there is a link in the PDPM properties tab).

Thanks in advance,

Slavek

Re: How can I use SY160K160H (w/o PD) as a Power Source to the PDPM277H?

Hi Slavek,

It appears PDPM277H cannot be connected directly to a UPS unit. Something like this power path could be tried out:

UPS -> PDU -> PDPM

ex:

(SYCF160KH-UPS, model name: APC Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V (UPS part) 2 of 2) ->  (SYCF160KH-PDU, model name: APC Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V (PDU part) 1 of 2) ->  (PDPM277H, model name: Modular Remote Power Panel, 277kVA, 400A, 400V, 72 Pole, 300mm)

Kind regards,

Jef

Hi Robert,

It is possible to get the product (APC IT Power Distribution Module 3 Pole 5 Wire 63A IEC309 1040cm Datasheet) datasheet from the APC website:
https://www.apc.com/sa/en/product/PDM3563IEC-1040/apc-it-power-distribution-module-3-pole-5-wire-63a...

Kind regards,

Jef
