Hi team,
How does DCO calculate the estimated heat loss of a UPS in cooling tab?
For examplo in this screenshot we have 1.0 kW in UPS-A and 0.9 kW in UPS-B.
And also, why one UPS has N+1 cooling redundancy and the other N+2?

Hi Javier,
I don't think there is a simple formula for expressing the Estimated Heat Loos (in 2D simulation), however based on the temperature difference between inlet and outlet temperature the Estimated Heat Loos is 'calculated'.
And for the cooling redundancy,
N+1, there is one redundant cooling unit for the rack/ups, eg. one cooler can fail anywhere in the data center and cooling will still be adequate.
N+2, there are two redundant cooling units for the rack/ups, eg. two coolers can fail anywhere in the data center and cooling will still be adequate.
