Support confirmation – Legacy MGE 66074 NMC with EcoStruxure IT Gateway

Hello,

We would like to formally confirm whether the legacy MGE 66074 Network Management Card (NMC) is officially supported when used in combination with an EcoStruxure IT Gateway, for monitoring purposes (EcoStruxure IT / Asset Advisor).

More specifically, could you please confirm:

• Whether this NMC model is supported or not supported in this architecture
• If supported, whether there are any known limitations, restrictions, or firmware constraints
• If not supported, whether this setup is considered “best effort” or unsupported from a Schneider Electric standpoint

This confirmation is required for customer validation and service scope definition.

Yes, both EcoStruxure IT Gateway and EcoStruxure IT Expert are capable of monitoring the UPS in which the NMC is installed. As you’re aware, that network card has been discontinued and has been officially replaced by an upgrade kit that supports our newer network management cards, such as the AP9635, for certain MGE units. The kit number provided is G5K9635CH.

Please note, however, that EcoStruxure IT Expert does not currently support firmware management or mass configuration for these cards.

I was able to locate documentation for upgrading the network cards' firmware.
