Dear Support Team, We have received and installed the NetBotz Rack Monitor . However, we have encountered an issue where the sensors are not being detected by the NetBotz 250A device. We initially reached out to chat support, and were advised to escalate the matter here. Kindly review and assist with resolving this issue at the earliest.
Under no circumstance should a NetBotz technical support issue be "escalated" to the forum. Is it possible that you spoke with someone other than technical support or a group that does not support NetBotz / APC devices? Do you have any detail on that incident that could help me find out anything about that chat so I could discuss it with that team? If anything, direct contact with technical support is an escalation to a forum post.
As for the issue itself, What sensor are you trying to connect and to which specific port are you trying to connect it?
When you log into the 250's interface, do you see any errors before or after the connection or do you just see an unchanged page?
Have you tried upgrading the firmware to the most recent?
Have you tried resetting the device to defaults? Are you connecting the sensors directly to the appliance or are you using some sort of extension or patch panel?
Are you connecting the sensors to the unit directly or through a sensor pod? If a pod, try them directly and see if the issue changes.
