Hello all.
I have a DDF file that I downloaded from SE. (Vertiv Liebert DCDactive Fan Module Cooling Device) However, this DDF is converting temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The units are outputting data that is already in Fahrenheit. This results in inaccurate data when I am trying to view sensor data.
I have edited the DDF file by commenting out the temperature conversion and set it to just pull the data. I was wondering if what I did is safe to use on a system that is in operation. (I don't see how this would cause any issues, but I am wanting to be cautious and get a second option)
Maybe someone could take a look and verify what I did is safe for DCE?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jake!
I am actually the DDF engineer and can take a look. My thought is that there is a data point we can key off of that tells us the UoM setting (Celsius or Fahrenheit). We can add logic to the sensor to first check the setting, then convert as needed. If you could submit a case using the link below and provide me with your case number, I can take that case and we can continue there.
