Migrate the DCE 7.4 to DCE 9.1.2

Dear Team,

Could you please tell me the best/shortest step instruction for DCE migration/upgrade ?
1) From the DCE 7.4 Hardware Appliance to DCE 9.1.2 VM ?
2) Also the upgrade from the DCE 7.8 Hardware Appliance to DCE 9.1.2 on the same Hardware Appliance ?
3} Also the upgrade from the DCE 7.8 VM to DCE 9.1.2 VM ?

You'll notice that it only goes back to 7.8.1 and that is because coming from older versions, although possible, is not recommended. It is recommended that the customers on such old versions deploy 9.1.2 and manually reconfigure the system.

If the customer does insist on getting that older version upgraded, they need to contact support to get the older versions between 7.4 and 7.8.1.

Please also be very conscious about the hardware requirements as noted in the above link as older servers may not be compatible with the newer DCE server operating system. There is also a link to the "Complete upgrade process for DCE 7.9.0" which is critical when performing this upgrade.

1: to go from hardware to VM is just creating a backup and importing it to the new VM

2: Upgrade on the same hardware is mostly just upgrades. The one that requires extra steps is outlined in the documentation I previously provided.

3: This is all outlined in the documentation previously provided.
