Hi Sir/Medom,
In the Ecostrucxure IT Advisor. I would like to import equipments with custom properties, but I can't see any example in the import template. Is there any document or tutorial about this ?
Best regards,
Sam

Adding to Jef's comment.
The asset import tool can import custom properties only if you are also importing the asset at the same time. If your assets are already imported, then you'll need to use ETL as Jef mentioned already.
If you are importing the assets and would like to include custom properties then if you view the import template sheet, you'll see a couple of columns which begin with CP highlighted in the red box in the screenshot.
CP means custom property. The name after the "CP" is the name of the custom property. You can edit the sheet column names to change those default CP column names, and you can add columns to the sheet to include other custom properties so you're not limited to the two columns.
Keep in mind this only works when adding the asset, it cannot be used to edit existing assets to ITA. If the asset exists already it will be deleted, then replaced by the asset and info from the import sheet.

Hi SamYau,
That’s correct - the equipment importer does not support importing custom properties.
If you’re working with a large setup, you may want to consider using the ETL integration feature in ITA. This feature allows you to import and update custom properties as well. For tailored solutions or integrations, you might want to reach out to your local sales representative.
Kind regards,
Jef
