Hello. Are you able to login to your IT Advisor 9.6 server using a local (non authentication server user account)?
If yes, please login as a non AD/LDAP user account which has administrator level permissions, change to the configuration menu, then the Authenication Servers pane. Your authentication server may need to be trusted on the new ITA server.
From the authentication servers pane, click the edit button on your authentication server entry, a popup window should appear containing your authentication server settings. Try scrolling down to the bottom of that pop-up window and click OK (no need to change any settings in the pop-up window).
If the authentication server is trusted the pop-up window will just close, but if it isn't trusted when you clicked OK, you may need to scroll back up in the pop-up window and accept the trust pane which may have appeared. If you had to complete this step this was the probably cause of your login issue.
