I just took over EcoStruxure IT. We have errors showing about 35 devices that are not APCs can't connect to SNMPv3 or SCP. How do I remove those devices to clean up the errors? The error is - Devices were found but EcoStruxure IT cannot communicate with them using the credentials in the system.

Hi @Jcrowell,
The error message you're seeing indicates that the SNMPv3 and/or SCP credentials on the device and the credentials on the Gateway don't match.
Verify the credentials on the devices, and then log in to the Gateway where the devices were discovered and verify that the credentials are present and correct.
If you change device credentials in the Gateway, you'll need to rediscover the devices.

To delete devices, log into the Gateway where the devices were discovered. Click Delete next to each device in the device list.

@JLehr - your response presumes the device are actually in the list. In this case (and many others) they are NOT in the list, because of the stated error. This has been a long standing problem.
@Jcrowell - read through this post to see about my proposed solution. Granted, you'll lose all historical data about the devices, but at least you won't have the spurious error message...

both of these solutions didn't work. Learning more on what the previous admin did. While searching for a device by IP address he did a range of the whole subnet. (192.168.1.1 - 254). when this ran it found some Cisco routers with web access and other devices with web access. Therefore, the Ecostrxure thinks they are APC's and the problem is SNMPv3. We don't want these devices talking to Ecostrxure. Under the Ecostruxure IT Expert - Device discovery it is showing 37 devices require attention. These are switches and routers. How do I clear that history, so they don't show up.

This is the one - and only - way to fix the problem.
So please explain what step didn't work, and what the error was - in detail.
I am asking because I use this procedure to help other MSPs who are not on this forum, and I want to know if it must be amended.
