Hello guys,
I would like to know if there is a way to register our UPSs to APC ecoStruxure remotely
, as all our UPSs are already installed, most of it are on high and different locations. I can see it requests for product ID (that I guess is the network card mac address) and Product Key(xx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) . seems it is easy to get via qr code on the box itself, but is there a way to find it on GUI ? or any other way to register it remotely?
Thank you

Hi @fcit_
All the documentation I've seen indicates that physical access to the device is required.
You can either access the information from the LCD screen on the device, or, you can scan the OR code or manually enter the product ID and product code from the label.

Yes, this is the way.
My UPS installation SOPs have been amended to include making certain I take a photo of the QR code and any other relevant information on those panels that APC/SE places in - once the device is installed - inaccessible locations. In fact, I always take a Brother label maker to put the Serial Number and MAC address of the device/NMC3 on the front of the UPS - and take an additional picture that for the client's records.
