Hello Expert,
With reference to this thread.
Can i ask my case is 1 x NBES0308 + 4x NBES0309 , how long can i extend the Cat5 cable.
Is it rule of 100 feet applied to NBES0308 length only ?
Br,
Ninh

Hi @Ninh_NV ,
I actually mis-typed in that prior post (has been corrected).
Max length is 100 feet.
If you have 20 feet of leak cable, you can use 80 feet of Cat5.
If you have 40 feet of leak cable, you can use 60 feet of Cat5.
And so on.
The only way to extend the leak cable s to connect both NBES0308 and NBES0309. So when we say "Leak Cable" in the prior post, it refers to both NBES0308 and NBES0309.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your response.
Just double confirm.
Total maximum length (both leak rope + cat5e) = 24m of NBES0309 + 6m of NBES0308 + 24m of Cat5e.
Of course the detectable is only NBES 08 and 09.
Am i correct ?
Ninh.

Hi @Ninh_NV ,
Please note that in my example I wrote feet while you're writing meters. In your example, you wrote 24m+6m+24m. That comes out to 54 meters or about 177 feet which is well over the 100 foot limit.
