We have upgraded to DCE 9 and trying to get a better idea of the new licensing model. We have some new NMC 3 devices and it does not appear we can update the firmware on those from DCE. Also, we have upgraded to a new pod with ACRD301S InRows. With DCE, we cannot make changes to them. Settings for items like the Air filters cleaning alert are grayed out. Would that be due to licensing? They are brand new, but indicate they need to be licensed.
Anyone else seeing these issues?

Hi @87655 ,
If you have DCE 9.0 or higher, you must have fully up to date license subscription in order to perform a firmware upgrade on any device. As for not being able to make changes to an ACRD unit I'm not sure I know exactly what you're attempting to do. I don't have one of those units in my unlicensed 9.0 server but I can use the APC SNMP device configuration option. If you're double clicking on the device and the device is saying it needs to be licensed, perhaps that's part of the device itself but once you log in to any device, DCE licensing has no affect on what you can or can not do.
