Camara pod 165 attached to 750 Rack Monitor don't appears on DCE Surveillance Thumbnail

Greetings,

I have a VM DCE 8.0 and all licences are good, both node count and surveillance count.

Recently, I deployed two new NB750 Rack Monitor, with two 165 Camaras attached directely to the appliance.

The two NB750 have been integrated on DCE already, and when I access ech one of them through https

IP ou by double cliking on DCE everything looks great, even the NB165 images.

Both NB750 are running 5.5.0.187 firmware.

However, on DCE Surveillance view, the Thumbnails view is empty in both NB750.

Is there any other way to add this camaras to surveillance mode?

Hi @squeiros ,

I couldn't help but notice you mentioned: " I access each one of them through https"
That just makes me wonder if you had specifically made any changes like disabling HTTP on the cameras. If you have, they won't work.

As for the images in surveillance, are they blank? are they a test pattern?

Does DCE show any errors on the monitoring perspective? Specifically, is there an API error?

I think to go much farther, we'd want to look at the DCE server and client logs along with the NetBotz logs. For that I always suggest contacting tech support directly.

You can try resetting the cameras and the NetBotz and re-adding with minimal configuration but if that fails, again, we'll need to look at logs.

Steve

Hi. Didn't do any config on camaras. I used the autodiscovery ONVIF protocol, when I  set up the NB750 for the first time.  What I meant was: I can see all the camara images when I get in on NB750 directly through https web browser. Everything looks fine on NB Dashboard.  But they don't appers on DCE.

This FAQ should be helpful
https://www.se.com/us/en/faqs/FA381605/

most likely the issue is both the netbot and DCE not having their SSL certificates imported into each others certificate store.  If you're not concerned with SSL certificate verification, you can disable it in DCE for the netbot appliance under device->netbotz comm settings->netbotz 750 camera comm settings.  Then edit the netbot appliance and set it to "no verification"
