Audible Alarm Notifications in Web Client – DCE EcoStruxure IT 8.3.0.91

Could you please advise if it is possible to enable audible alarm notifications (sound alerts) in the web client of DCE EcoStruxure IT version 8.3.0.91?

If this feature is available, could you kindly explain how to configure it?

Hi @MaxMavrov,

You can configure audible alarm notifications in the DCE desktop client only in File > Client Preferences > Audio Settings.

Did I understand correctly that sound notifications are not supported in the web client (browser page accessed via IP address), and that they can only be received in the DCE desktop client?

Hello Max,

Engineering and Product Management are aware of the request and your comments are added to a feature request.  I can not say at this time when or if the feature will be added, just that engineering and product management are aware and will determine its priority alongside other feature enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates.
