Geo SCADA Expert 2023 (2025) - Mimic Method Pick Action issue with OPC UA Digital Point

Hi,

I found inconsistent behavior in Geo SCADA Expert 2023 (2025) with an OPC UA Digital Output point. OPC UA digital output points are controlled through the standard Control mechanism when configured as output points.

• If I configure a Mimic → Method Pick Action and leave the arguments empty, Geo SCADA opens the native Control dialog and the write succeeds. Standard Control for output points uses a Value field in the dialog.
• If I explicitly set a fixed argument like Action = 1 in the Mimic Method Pick Action, it fails with:
  The call to the method 'Control.Control' included the following unexpected argument(s): Value. The Mimic Method Pick Action is supposed to support predefined values where applicable.
• If I create a separate Method Call object with Control.Control(0) or Control.Control(1), it works correctly. Method Calls store arguments in configuration and execute them via Execute.

 

So this seems to be a Mimic Method Pick Action issue, not an OPC UA write issue. The same method works through Method Call, but not directly from the Mimic when the argument is fixed.

Has anyone seen this before?
Is this a known limitation/bug in Geo SCADA Expert 2023 (2025) for OPC UA Digital Points?
