Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if there is any way to create dynamic text boxes in a mimic that is placed in a group template? I have a piece of text that changes depending on different selections, and I want the text window to automatically adjust to the length of the text.

Nothing that I'm aware of. I don't recall looking all that hard, but I'm pretty sure that the width (and height) of a text box is fixed at design time, and there's no animations available to adjust this.
With the move to more 'reactive' visual designs to accommodate different display device dimensions, it would be quite useful if dynamic sizing of text entry items (font size and entry field width/height) was possible.
Perhaps this has been introduced in a recent version of GeoSCADA that I've not played with so deeply. You've had a look at the animations available on the Text Entry field right and confirmed that you can't add anything for Width / Height (that works)?

The only way I can think of is to overlay boxes of different sizes and control visibility with (e.g.) string length animations.
