The Solution Explorer is situated on the top right side of the screen and lists the assemblies you add to the 3D scene.   It provides an easily accessible overview as the model becomes more complex.   In addition to Assemblies, Controller scripts and message validation templates (MVT) that are part of the model are also visible.     The Solution Explorer can be used to:   Double click on an assembly to alter its name. Click on an assembly to centre it on the 3D scene. Click on assemblies to add new sections.   All assemblies are added to a section in the Solution Explorer. You can organise assemblies in sections by dragging them from one section to another. Assemblies can also be moved from one section to another through the Properties window. Sections can be renamed either by double clicking on a section in Solution Explorer or through the Properties window. Note that when new assemblies are added they will automatically be added to the currently activated section. The active section is highlighted in Solution Explorer. Use sections to create a logical structure in Solution Explorer according to the different system part’s functions.   Select a section and right click to activate the context menu for a section. Here the entire group of assemblies can be disabled/enabled or deleted. When an assembly is disabled it is illustrated in Solution Explorer by a red square with an x inside. When you disable an assembly the physics becomes inactive. The assembly will still be visible, but with a pale grey colour. When the physics is disabled on, for example, a conveyor, loads will fall through the conveyor.     The hide assemblies function will make assemblies invisible but still functioning.   The feature can used together with importing a CAD layout. The physics from the hidden assemblies will be used but only the layout will be visible.   Right click Assembly to activate pop up menu for Assembly level. Hide/Show, Lock/Unlock, Disable/Enable.   Right click Section to activate pop up menu for Section level. Hide/Show Sections, Hide/Show Assemblies, Lock/Unlock, Fit and Disable/Enable.      

Properties pane is situated on the bottom right of the screen.   It displays the properties of any selected item/part.   Every assembly has a properties window where alterations and specifications to the different attributes can be made.   The properties window is activated by clicking on the assembly on the 3D scene or by clicking on the assembly in solution explorer.   FILTERS.   At the top of the Properties pane there is a combo box with different filters.   The filters are extracted from the configuration file that exists for every catalog.   In the Experior.Catalog.Logistic.Sensor.config file there is a list of filters associated with each property. Below you see the filters associated with the “Blocked” property for the PhotoEye.   You are allowed to add newer filters or rename existing ones.   Note: “Name” is used for identification (do not change it) and “DisplayName” is listed for being able to recognize the property (“DisplayName” is the name used in the property window were the “Name” is the the name of the property in the source code).   The filters are updated the next time Experior is loaded.  

Located at the bottom of the screen, logs reflecting work on the 3D scene can be found.   Logs displays information of catalogues loaded and every assembly that has been placed on the 3D scene.   Further more, messages triggered from code and other user defined info can be selected.   Clicking in the Logs pane and selecting either File or FileDate from the File -> Mode properties options allows the path of where the log file is saved to be customized.   Selecting File from the File -> Mode properties gives the log file the same name as the model. It will append to one same file.   Selecting FileDate gives the log file the same name as the model and affixes the date and time-stamp to the end of the file name. It will create a new file upon start and Reset.    

(Only relevant in Physics Mode)    Selecting a GPU allows an increase in PhysX processing and will improve overall performance in Experior.  

Download the required version of Experior Go to the Release folder, open the folder containing needed Experior version and download the setup file. Double click the Experior install file. On the License Agreement screen, select I Agree.   If you want a custom installation path click the Options button. Otherwise click the Install button.   The program will now install, if a User Account Control window appears click YES. Once the installation is complete, click CLOSE to finish.
