Cause
The requirement is to review historical changes made to user records, specifically card numbers that have been added or removed. Standard Event reports indicate that a user record was modified but do not provide details of the specific fields that were changed, making it necessary to use a report that includes modification history.
Resolution
The Record modified history report shows all user records modified within the selected time frame, grouped by user. It includes the settings that were modified, the old and new values, and the operator.
- Create a new User report
- set the Report type to "Record modified history report"
- set the Period
- If set to Custom period with Prompt for data selected, the Report will prompt the operator for a date range defaulting to the last week
- save the report and then run it
