Issue
Two separate Twisted Pair Adapter networks connected to separate AS-P controllers appeared to be cross communicating. When viewed with the Twisted Pair Adapter commissioning tool, devices from both networks were visible from either network. This resulted in RP-C controllers experiencing IP address conflicts and communication issues. Testing also showed that multiple adapters placed near each other could be detected even when no field wiring was connected.

Cause
Resolution
The communication legs were re-established and modifications were made to provide greater physical separation between the rail-mounted terminals. After these changes, the two networks reported only their respective field controllers and the cross communication issue was removed. Validation confirmed that each communication leg reported only the controllers expected on that network.
