Issue

Server modifications such as adding a new top server, cloning a server, or detaching a server in a Building Advisor-connected environment may require removal of existing Cloud Agent components before proceeding.

Product Line

EcoStruxure Building Advisor, EcoStruxure Building Operation

Environment

  • EcoStruxure Building Operation
  • EcoStruxure Building Advisor
  • Cloud Agent
  • Cloud Connectivity (Cloud Plugin)

Cause

Cloud Agent applications and related files remain installed on the system prior to performing server changes.

Resolution

Before adding a new top server, cloning a server, or detaching a server connected to Building Advisor, disable Cloud Connectivity (Cloud Plugin).

Verify that Cloud Agent is not installed before proceeding. If Cloud Agent is installed, perform a complete removal of all Cloud Agent-related applications and directories.

  1. Open Add or Remove Programs.

  2. Search for Agent and uninstall the following applications if present:
  • Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation Cloud Agent
  • Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation Certificate Agent
  • Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation Update Agent
  • EcoStruxure Foresight Operation Cloud Agent Software Administrator

    3. Navigate to the C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric EcoStruxure directory and delete the  following directories:

  • Building Operation CDA Agent
  • Building Operation Cloud Agent
  • Building Operation Cloud Certificate Agent
  • Building Operation Update Agent

     4. Clear the Recycle Bin.
