Warning
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions Required
Always follow standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions when handling internal components.
Discharge static electricity from your person by touching a grounded metal surface before touching internal hardware. Failure to do so may result in damage to electronic components.
Cause
Based on troubleshooting and expert assessment, possible causes include:
- Loose or improper ribbon cable connection between MCU and display unit.
- SD card issue at MCU unit.
- Potential firmware corruption or damage.
- Possible defective display unit.
- Main CPU not functioning properly.
Resolution
Perform the following checks to rule out common hardware connection issues:
- Ribbon cable connection
- Verify that the ribbon cable between the MCU and the display unit is correctly seated and securely connected.
- Refer to the image below for ribbon cable location and orientation.
- SD card installation
- Power OFF the panel.
- Remove and re‑install the SD card at the MCU unit, ensuring it is fully seated.
- Refer to the image below for SD card location.
Note:
If the panel continues to emit a continuous beep and the display does not start after confirming these checks, no further user‑level troubleshooting is recommended.
At this stage, the issue may be related to firmware integrity, display hardware, or CPU functionality and requires further assessment.
