Resolution
1. Verify Firmware Version
- Navigate to Engineer Options → System Information.
- Confirm cabling:
- LAN cable connected to Media Gateway Card LAN port.
- Check the installed firmware version.
- Expected firmware:

- Expected firmware:
If the firmware version is missing, unreadable, or outdated:
- Perform a firmware update.

2. Configure Graphics / Third‑Party & VR Settings
Graphics / Third‑Party Settings
- Navigate to
Engineer Options → Configuration → Panel Module → Media Gateway Card - Select Graphics / Third‑Party Settings.
- Apply configuration values as shown in the reference images.
- Submit the settings.
VR Settings
- In the same menu, open VR Settings.
- Apply configuration values as per the reference images.
- Submit the settings.
Outcome
After completing the firmware verification and applying the required Graphics and VR settings, the Media Gateway Card should resume sending messages to the converter, restoring normal Modbus/BACnet communication with the BMS.
