Environment
- FFS00702606xx (FMP Sense Fireman's Panel).
Warning
Hazard of Electric Shock: Remove all power from all devices before removing any covers or doors of the system. Disconnect power at the device and at the power source.
Cause
The repeater panel is designed to monitor dual 24 VDC power inputs (PI1 and PI2).
The PI2 fault occurs when the second power input is:
- Not connected, or
- Not properly bridged when only a single power supply is used.
Resolution
Perform the following steps:
- Connect the 24 VDC power supply to the primary power input terminal
- If only one power source is used:
- Install a jumper wire across both power input terminals (PI1 and PI2)
- This ensures both inputs are electrically present to the panel.
