Issue
When using a programmable function (PF) to control a door group, activating the function unlocks all doors as expected. Individual doors can then be manually locked or unlocked. However, when the function is deactivated, the remaining unlocked doors do not relock. Additionally, manual “Unlock Latched” commands on individual doors do not persist as expected when the programmable function is controlling the group.

Cause
The programmable function continuously evaluates and controls the door group output state. This behavior overrides individual manual commands and prevents doors from relocking or maintaining manual override states. Using only a single programmable function with “Follow and test” or “Follow pulse on output” does not provide the required latch unlock and cancel behavior.
Resolution
Configure two separate programmable functions instead of a single function:
- Create the first programmable function for latch unlock using “2‑Follow pulse on output”.
- Create the second programmable function for latch unlock cancel using “5‑Invert Follow pulse off output”.
- Keep the remaining settings the same for both programmable functions.
This configuration ensures proper control of the latch unlock and relock behavior. The solution was validated after implementation, with the system operating as expected and the issue resolved.
