Issue

A different application needs to be assigned to an existing MNL controller hosted under an Automation Server in EcoStruxure Building Operation.

Cause

An incorrect application was previously installed on the MNL controller, requiring the controller to be reassigned and downloaded with the correct application file.

Resolution

Steps to Assign the Correct Application

1. Confirm Availability of the Correct Application Make sure the correct application file exists in the WorkPlace Tech Editor application list. If not, import or create it before proceeding.

2. Locate the MNL Device in the System Tree Expand the Building Operation System Tree to view the target MNL controller and its associated Application object.

3. Delete the Existing Application Right-click the Application object under the MNL controller and select Delete.

4. Assign the Correct Application

   • Right-click the MNL controller.
   • Navigate to MNL → Assign Application.
   • Select the correct application from the WorkPlace Tech Editor application list.

5. Download the Application to the Controller

   • Right-click the MNL controller again.
   • Select MNL → Download Application to push the new application to the device.
