Re: Announcing Buildings Business Community Available on Mobile Devices

Have you changed something? I registered two devices a month ago, and they are both still in my list, but I had to delete my iPhone and register it again to get the app to connect?

Re: Announcing Buildings Business Community Available on Mobile Devices

ANDROID USERS:

A) Install the Jive Mobile app from the Google Play Store first (QR Code below).

JiveMobileQR.png

B) Then run the Jive Mobile app and select Scan QR Code

C) Use the instructions to add a mobile device to your account from the directions above. Once you name the device and click register you will be presented with a QR code to scan.

The Jive Mobile app will retain your recent community access and registration, so you can easily log back in.

Otherwise, your device will be registered in your browser and you have to add a bookmark to access again.

Re: Announcing Buildings Business Community Available on Mobile Devices

Currently (Dec 13, 2012) - The Jive Mobile app for Android does not gracefully Exit. It does not close the app when on the main screen by clicking Back Button and Menu button only shows Settings and no exit. I will file this with review in Google Play store.

Hi David.

Can you please clarify?

Are you accessing the site using the Android App or a Native android browser?

Jive Software - Android Apps on Google Play

Kind regards,

Annette

Re: Announcing Buildings Business Community Available on Mobile Devices

Hi David.

Jive support needs a little help to pinpoint and see the issue. Please let us know when it happens again and the time when it happens.

That will assist us when it comes to troubleshooting and analysing the logs.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Anntte

This is a UX design issue, usually found when app is developed for 1 button devices and not updated for Android's multiple buttons. [This is not a server/app/data issue.] The app should be designed to exit if you press the BACK button (screencap1) and when press the MENU button, there should be an Exit button along with the Settings button (screencap2).

Re: Announcing Buildings Business Community Available on Mobile Devices

Hi Pasquale,

I looked into your question with our community vendor, Jive Software. Looks like no native Blackberry app exists, and most likely never will. However, the mobile experience on the native browser is supported for Blackberry OS6 and OS7.
