Is this an error, or do I not know how to program

As I see it, the "Test 2.tgml" in the attached should not work, but it does. It seems that a script will ripple down through everything below it's current target until it reaches the first match.

Is that intented? As I see it, it gives a lot of unwanted activity.

It does work as intended.  The .getChildByName(<"name">) function will parse through all child nodes (and subchildren) until a match is found.

I think in upcoming versions with .getChild("<name>") and .getChildRecursive("<name">) will help with what you are wanting.

Already forgot about the "to come in future versions" post... I was on the other side of the globe in Colombia on vacation, so... 😉

Now it makes sense. Thanks!
