EchoLake

With the advent of smart spaces, it is becoming more and more desirable to have a more natural user interface for interacting with one's environment, and what is more natural than speech? If we could somehow find a way to use speech in control our SBO system, that could really give us an advantage in the healthcare and hotel markets. Introducing EchoLake!

EchoLake enables SBO to be controlled using the Amazon Echo via Amazon Alexa and features the ability to:

  • Read property values from SBO while talking to the Amazon Echo
  • Set property values in SBO while talking to the Amazon Echo

Re: EchoLake

Hi Nava,

How do we get the files, user guide, and the license?

The link to SmartConnector Server above is not workig, but in any rate, I don't see a license either on

https://www.smartconnectorserver.com/marketplace

Re: EchoLake

Hi Vassil,

This Extension was used for testing the marketplace in the old exchange and should have never been made public. During the migration the permissions on this were incorrectly set.

Sorry for the confusion! There are no files or documentation for you :(.

That said, keep checking back as there might be some good stuff coming on the near future with regards to this type of functionality.

Regards,

-Jeff
