Hello,
I've had the unit since 2017 or so and its been fine, however the old batteries were done so i ordered new ones. Swapped like i have before, updated the replacement battery date and for some reason the batteries just slowly deplete over several days.
I removed the batteries and recharged them outside of the unit to 100%, placed them back in and ran the diagnostic and that passed. I had a heater attached for a decent load. The test consumed 5% power and afterwards the battery showed it was recharging and got from 95% to 98% and from there seems to be consistently losing about 7% capacity every 2 hours.
Looking for advice for something else i can try or force some sort of reset on the unit?

When the RBC is replaced the following action items must be completed in sequence via APC Power Chute Software.
Date: The RBC (Battery) installation date must be updated. As this resets internal counters and adjusts charging tables if applicable.
Self Test: Manually initiate a self test via Power Chute and let pass. Allow the RBC to recharge back to 100% SOC (State of Charge).
Calibration: Manually initiate a battery calibration with 30% connected load or higher. Once this process completes allow the system to recharge the RBC to 100% SOC.
This procedure will help teach the system the current state of health of the new RBC. In doing so it will better reflect the operational runtime via LCD, LED, Power Chute.
NOTE: The above procedure only addresses the RBC replacement process. Once these action items have been completed perform the following tests to help validate the system is fully operational:
Brain Dead: Complete the brain dead reset as outlined in this APC Resource Link:

Logs: Insure the unit is connected to a computer running APC Power Chute (PCPE / PCSS) software.
Once the system indicates the RBC is 100% SOC and in float mode. Remove AC Mains from the unit and allow the system to shutdown. Then, restore AC Mains and monitor the charging status via the data log.
The Data Log will show a steady increase in charging DC voltage into the RBC. If, you do not see any increase in charging voltage after 24 hours report this here and upload a screen capture of both the event / data logs for review.

If you have a multimeter connect it to the battery terminals while the charge / discharge process is underway. Doing so will tell you immediately if the system is actually charging the RBC when needed.
